Acrylonitrile
We are a distributor of the product Acrylonitrile for Eastern and Western Europe, but with excellent opportunities for export outside of Europe.
Description and uses
Some examples on the use of ACN:
- co-monomer in the production of acrylic and modacrylic fibers
- production of plastics, surface coatings, nitrile elastomers, synthetic rubbers, barrier resins, and adhesives
- chemical intermediate in the synthesis of various antioxidants, pharmaceuticals, dyes, and surface-active agents
- raw material for acrylic acid, acrylic esters and acrylamide
ACN is a reactive monomer and can readily be polymerized with itself or with other monomers, can form copolymers with other unsaturated compounds, such as styrene and butadiene.
