Who are we?

ECEM was established in 1981 (the first of May) and became an independent, major and international distributor of chemical products. We represent the interests of more than 20 major multinational chemical producers, and serve about 500 end consumers with a range of 150 complementary products in the Acrylic Resin, UV Curing, Coatings, Adhesives, Polyurethanes, Polyesters, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Food and Feed industries. ECEM supplies customers from our own stocks ex warehouses and tank terminals.

The company has headquarters in Amsterdam from where we coordinate marketing, sales and logistics activities. There are also offices in Manchester, Barcelona, and Sao Paolo, which together with our Japanese offices allows us to supply our customers on a worldwide basis.

As distributors of a wide range of Acrylic, Methacrylic and Hydroxy monomers as well as complementary specialties we have unequalled commercial and logistics knowledge of specific chemicals. ECEM can offer a unique 'one stop shopping' and logistics concept. Customer service is paramount to what we do.

The company is privately owned with a personal touch and prides itself in having close contacts with our customers and suppliers. We believe in long-term and transparent partnerships between principals and customers, together with our high logistics and marketing service level.
